The Thomas Nelson and Zondervan Publishing Groups Continue to Inspire
HarperCollins Christian Publishing won a total of five awards at the 2013 ECPA’s annual Executive Leadership Summit. “Jesus Today” by Sarah Young (Thomas Nelson) won 2013 Christian Book of the Year, making this the fifth year a Thomas Nelson title was honored with the prestigious award.
Additional titles to win a 2013 Christian Book Award include:
- “Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament, Acts” by Eckhard J. Schnabel (Zondervan) in Bible Reference;
- “Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing” by Sally Lloyd-Jones (ZonderKidz) in Inspirational.
- “Anything” by Jennie Allen (Thomas Nelson) in New Author;
- “Grace” by Max Lucado (Thomas Nelson) in Non-fiction.

According to a release from ECPA, the awards “recognize the absolute highest quality in Christian books. Based on excellence in content, literary quality, design and impact…the most prestigious in the religious publishing industry.”
