Zondervan receives five recognitions in the 2022 Book Awards from The Gospel Coalition 

(Nashville, Tenn.) December 9, 2022 —This week, Zondervan received five recognitions at the 2022 Book Awards from The Gospel Coalition.  Four titles were considered best overall in their category and one received an award of distinction.  The company congratulates its authors and the Zondervan Academic and Zondervan Reflective publishing imprints for this honor. According to the announcement from The Gospel Coalition, these awards are presented annually and are selected by editors at The Gospel Coalition and outside judges using four criteria. 

Book Award winners should:

  • offer gospel-centered argument and application; 
  • include faithful and foundational use of Scripture, both Old Testament and New Testament; 
  • foster spiritual discernment of contemporary trials and trends; and 
  • encourage efforts to unite and renew the church.

  • Academic Theology – Typology: Understanding the Bible’s Promise-Shaped Patterns written by James M. Hamilton Jr. – (Zondervan Academic)
